Twelves months ago, lady startup Ruby Riethmuller launched Womn-Kind — a female-led youth organisation on a mission to close the gap in mental health support for teenage girls — right from her hometown in rural NSW. The Shark Tank- style competition called for all rural business owners and entrepreneurs, who need a financial push, to pitch their idea to the world. After entering, Ruby anxiously waited to hear the results of the competition. On the day the winners were meant to be announced, Ruby recalls feeling pretty average about the whole situation, especially by the time 5pm rolled around. That was until she received an email from Grace Brennan saying that they wanted to jump on a Zoom call with her the next morning. Still unsure of whether this was about to be good news or bad news, Ruby went over every possible scenario in her head. On the call, Grace talked through all the elements of Womn-Kind that she adored while Ruby was waiting on the edge of her seat.

I have a tendency to be overly sensative emotionally and the trauma of being forced to choose between someone I love and want to spend the rest of my with and Eternal Mormon Celestial Salvation caused me extensive emotional damage that I have struggled with ever since. My boyfriend is a first year orthopedics resident. If I just assume he won't be home to eat dinner with us, it's a happy surprise when he is. I sacrificed a career and instead raise the children at home which often feels like single parenthood. When those are not around or when the circumstances or the spirit indicate otherwise then prayer is more than enough. In my experience, life-long member, many Mormons have difficulty thinking outside the box, and putting forth effort to inclue and love. The minute i start thinking too far ahead, i get overwhelmed Hello I am responding to the May 1 post. Do you have a few suggestions for talking points I may want to bring up from stuff directly on LDS. It has just made me realize that these formulas a lot of us Mormons learn growing up about how to have a happy marriage are, well, crap.
